The Bexley Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is excited to announce Bryan Drewry as the organization’s newest Executive Director. Bryan most previously served as a Relationship Manager in the Procurement area at Nationwide Insurance. His first day in the role will be Wednesday, January 18.
“We are thrilled that Bryan will be joining us at the Chamber.” Said Board President Kevin Rouch. “His knowledge of the community and his great enthusiasm for all he does will help the Chamber expand its reach and the services it provides its members. I am very much looking forward to his leadership and his friendship.”
As Executive Director he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, recruit new members within the east Columbus area and beyond, host networking luncheons, oversee the planning of Taste of Bexley, and more. Bryan’s goals in the position include increasing revenue, reducing expenses, and strategically improving local businesses. His experience with fundraising, planning, and organizational leadership positions him well to meet these goals.
“I bring a comprehensive set of skills that will be valuable to the Bexley Chamber of Commerce. My customer service, people-centric nature, and compassion have accentuated my excellent leadership skills.” Said Drewry. “I am excited to dedicate my talents toward the business community of the Bexley.”
Bryan and his wife, Erica, reside in Bexley and are the proud parents of their sons Marshall and Isaiah. He is heavily involved in various community groups such as the Bexley Minority Parent Alliance, Bexley Historical Society, and other local volunteer boards. He has a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and a master’s degree in Insurance Management from Boston University. In his free time he enjoys sports, historical research, and reading.
