The Bexley Chamber is pleased to announce Chris Olsen as our November Local Leader Series speaker.

Chris is a Co-Founder and Partner of Drive Capital. He founded Drive in 2013 and the firm has since raised over $1 billion to invest in world-class technology companies outside of Silicon Valley. What that means is that this venture capital leader, based in Central Ohio, is continually proving that creative technology ideas don’t just percolate on the coasts. Drive invests in the companies that are solving critical problems for today and tomorrow. To date, the firm has made investments in more than 50 companies, including Root Insurance, Olive, Duolingo, and Path Robotics.

Prior to founding Drive, Chris was a Partner at Sequoia Capital where he helped launch the firm’s first growth fund.

Chris grew up in Cincinnati and was an avid squash player. He would eventually drop out of college to pursue the professional squash circuit. Lucky for us, he quickly learned his talents were better suited to working with entrepreneurs.
